Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a related medical field with experience in processing referrals.
• Proficient in handling insurance authorizations and billing inquiries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtains authorizations from insurance carriers for referrals.
• Schedules testing and physician appointments.
• Verifies eligibility/coverage for referrals.
• Investigates billing problems and denials.
• Collects patient balances and processes payments.
• Posts payments to patient accounts.
