Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night Shift in the Cardiovascular/Telemetry Unit. The role involves comprehensive nursing care, collaborative treatment planning, and patient education to ensure safe transitions of care.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited nursing program.
Current RN license in Pennsylvania on hire.
Ability to organize and prioritize patient care assignments.
Completion of orientation programs related to specialty.
Maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
Basic computer skills are required.
BLS certification on hire; AHA guidelines followed.
Preferred Bachelor’s in Nursing; 1 year acute care experience.

Responsabilités

Provide professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Coordinate care with physicians, interdisciplinary team, and families.
Deliver patient education to support treatment and transitions of care.
Support unit and hospital goals; participate in performance improvement.
Perform validated clinical skills per specialty and unit practice.
Utilize technology to optimize care delivery; mentor new staff.
