Job summary

You will direct and manage patient care, using effective communication to collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient and family education, supporting unit goals, and mentoring new staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
• Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and manages the care of designated patients with effective communication to the team.
• Maintains patient safety and competency in alignment with policies.
• Coordinates patient and family education to facilitate transitions of care.
• Performs duties and mentoring to support unit goals and performance improvement.
