Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care, with a focus on safe, high-quality patient outcomes within the Cardiovascular/Telemetry Unit. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with physicians and the care team to meet patient needs.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, PA RN licensure, and BLS certification; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Upon hire RN - Licensed Registered Nurse (PA).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Ensure safety and maintain clinical competency and quality of care.
• Assist in education of patients and families throughout treatment course.
