Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking an Interventional Radiology Cardiovascular Technologist to perform procedures under the direction of a physician, ensuring accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include working under supervision, meeting ARRT or equivalent requirements, state licensure on hire, BLS certification on hire, and contributing to a team delivering high-quality care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or graduate of a Radiologic Technology program with Radiologic Technologist registry certification by ARRT or equivalent education/experience
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire or Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - ARRT upon hire or National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - CCIs upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Education

Cardiovascular Technology degree or Radiologic Technology program with ARRT
Washington Radiologic Technologist license on hire or Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification on hire
ARRT Registries – Radiography or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification (CCI) on hire
BLS – American Heart Association on hire

Job description

Cardiovascular Technologist - Interventional Radiology at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

The Interventional Radiology (IR) Cardiovascular Technologist will perform procedures on patients resulting in the accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired vascular disease and other organic disease while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or graduate of a Radiologic Technology program with Radiologic Technologist registry certification by ARRT or equivalent education/experience
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire or Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire or National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in the field of Interventional Radiology and/or Cardiac Catheterization
  • Experience in Neuro, Body, Vascular and Interventional Radiology

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
