Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience as a CRT with hands-on scrub experience in a Cath Lab.
  • Knowledge of imaging workflow and patient positioning techniques.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order.
  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Sign-On Bonus

We are offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an approved CVT Program required.
  • Current Radiology License (ARRT) required.
  • Current Arkansas State License (MRAD:AR).
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Two (2) years of current experience as a CRT with hands-on scrub experience within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
  • Experience as cardiovascular monitoring technologist, including but not limited to A-Line and IV insertion and all modalities within the Cath Lab.

Overview

As our Cardiovascular Technologist at CHI St Vincent, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day, you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab, including but not limited to IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices, and make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role, you need to understand the importance of diagnostic imaging, including knowledge of the general imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for accurate diagnosis.
