As our Cardiovascular Technologist at CHI St Vincent, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.
Every day, you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab, including but not limited to IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser, and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices, and make a positive impact on internal and external customers.
To be successful in this role, you need to understand the importance of diagnostic imaging, including knowledge of the general imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for accurate diagnosis.
