Responsibilities
  • Perform highly skilled non-invasive cardiological tests, including M-Mode, 2-D, Doppler echocardiograms, and color flow Doppler studies across various settings.
  • Collaborate with physicians, notify them of significant findings, and assist with transesophageal echocardiograms, exercise stress, and pharmacologic stress echocardiograms.
  • Analyze and evaluate study results for review by interpreting physicians.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, perform routine equipment checks, and ensure proper sterilization and storage of equipment.
  • Provide patient-centered care, demonstrating courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Required)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience as a cardiac sonographer
