Job summary

City: Eau Claire, WI. Remote: No. Department: Nursing.

Schedule

Full Time. Hours/Pay Period: 64. Monday–Friday daytime; weeknight and holiday on‑call rotation. Weekend on‑call rotation; must report within 30 minutes while on call.

Responsibilities

Provide service to adults of all ages in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Assist in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing, and completing a diagnostic or interventional angiographic procedure under physician supervision. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response. Require competence in a variety of equipment and technology; responsible for image management, equipment maintenance, and inventory. Practice safety guidelines. Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement. Assume on‑call responsibility. Demonstrate ability to function well under stressful or emergent situations.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited radiologic or cardiovascular technology program. Advanced Cardiac Life Support recommended. Prefer hemodynamic and ECG monitoring experience. Previous experience in Radiology, Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology preferred. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Flexibility with working hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Basic computer skills. Leadership, problem‑solving, verbal and written communication, and team building. Basic improvement concepts and techniques. Basic Life Support certification.

• Radiologic Technologist program graduate: Active Wisconsin Radiographer license; must register with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Must obtain credentials in Radiography‑Cardiovascular Interventional RT(R)(CI) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within 2 years of hire.
• Cardiovascular Technology program graduate: Must obtain certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) within 2 years of hire.
