Job summary

Wayne Memorial Hospital Honesdale, Pa seeks a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist specializing in cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and invasive procedures, perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring during cardiac catheterizations, and prepare/provide care before, during, and after procedures while maintaining all pertinent records.

Applicants should hold ARRT certification; RCIS is preferred and must be obtained within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• RCIS certification preferred; RCIS must be obtained within 24 months.
• 2–3 years clinical experience in diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterization lab.
• Knowledge of 12-Lead EKG interpretation.
• Physiologic monitoring and intra-cardiac pressure waveform knowledge.
• Pacemaker operations.
• Familiar with radiographic equipment related to cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, provides technical support to physician during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Performs scrub and hemodynamic monitoring with cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology procedures.
• Provides care assessment before, during, and after procedures to patients.
• Prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures.
