Job summary

Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton is seeking a Full Time Cardiac and Vascular technologist to provide expertise and support for procedures in the Cardiovascular Laboratories. The role rotates to the Cardiovascular Observation/Recovery area as needed.

Required are ACLS and BLS certifications, and at least one year of cardiac cath or EP experience; RCIS certification is preferred and a radiologic technologist or registry-cardio program is expected for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved radiologic technologist program or Registry approved Cardiovascular program.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• RCIS certification preferred; 36 months post probationary period.
• One year cardiac cath or EP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac and vascular expertise and support to patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiovascular Laboratories.
• Rotates as assigned to the Cardiovascular Observation/Recovery area.
