Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will support physicians during heart and vascular procedures in a state‑of‑the‑art hybrid lab with advanced imaging and rapid escalation from diagnostic to interventional care.

The role requires strong scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring skills, and the ability to prepare and maintain all procedural data.

Qualifications

• Certificate Program Diploma from an accredited school of Cardiovascular/Radiology Technology is required.
• Associates Degree from an accredited school of Cardiovascular/Radiology Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to the physician during heart and vascular procedures.
• Performs scrub and hemodynamic monitoring during cardiac catheterizations.
• Prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures.
• Provides care, assessment prior to, during and post-procedural instruction to patients.

General Summary

Provides technical support and assistance to the physician during heart and vascular procedures. Performs scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with cardiac catheterizations using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols. Provides care, assessment prior, during and post‑procedural instruction to patients. Prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures.
