Job summary

North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to assist in the cardiovascular lab under the guidance of physicians. The role involves scrubbing procedures, monitoring physiologic data, and ensuring room readiness for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT-R (or equivalent) licensure, have cardiovascular lab experience, and ACLS/BCLS certifications.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license or state license as required.
• Experience in a cardiovascular lab preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and ACLS within 30 days.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure procedure room is prepared and instruments stocked.
• Participate in staff meetings and training of new staff.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
