Job summary

Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Lab Tech to assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures under physician supervision.

You will scrub and monitor procedures, ensure room readiness, maintain instrument inventories, and participate in staff meetings and performance improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, days shift position at a major Prime Healthcare facility.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license or certification required.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures or monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare procedure room and maintain instrument supplies par level.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training

• ARRT‑R and license as required
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
