Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. You will work with providers on all cardiac cases, including complex PCI and EP procedures, wearing lead and maintaining patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program or 2+ years of related experience, with BLS and ACLS on track for timely completion.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program or have two years of field experience as CVT, Radiology Tech, Anesthesia Tech or Paramedic.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program preferred.
• AHA BLS required within three months of hire; ACLS required within nine months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and assists physicians in all procedures performed in the Cardiovascular Lab.

Job Summary

Full time position in the Cardiac Cath lab. Working with the providers for all Cardiac cases involving the heart. Including, but not limited to: R/LHC, PCI,s EMBX, CTO /CHIP procedures, ASD / PFO procedures, structural heart (TAVRS / Mitral Clips, TMVRS), etc. Will also Learn Electrophysiology procedures. Must be able to wear lead, work as a team, and display professional behavior in a sometimes-stressful environment. Must be flexible in a patient centric environment. Patient care is always our priority. Prepares for and assists physician in all procedures done in the Cardiovascular Lab. Other duties as assigned.

Experience Description

Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program or two years of field experience as an allied Health professional such as CVT, Radiology Tech, Anesthesia Tech or Paramedic is required.

Education Description

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program is preferred

Licensure Description

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within nine months of hire.
