Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Milwaukee, WI. You will support the surgical team to provide safe, efficient patient care and help carry out the hospital’s mission.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of a Surgical Technologist program, and BLS. At least one year of surgical experience is preferred. This is an on-site, full-time role with 40-hour weeks. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-high school education or certification preferred.
• Completion of a Surgical Technologist program required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 90 days of hire.
• Military Operating Room Specialist course or Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care and meet patient goals.
• Support operating room workflow and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Assist during surgical procedures and prep/recover as needed.

Job Summary:

As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patient insuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospital is carried out.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of 1 year of Surgical experience is required. Experience can come in any combination in a role as a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: None.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education, certification or diploma required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program required.
