The educational sponsorship incentive program is intended to cover all or a portion of the per semester cost of tuition, program and management fees while pursuing a degree required for a qualified future role at Altru.
This sponsorship can be used in conjunction with other financial aid. Those employees/students currently enrolled in an accredited academic program are eligible to apply for an education sponsorship for the remainder of the academic degree program, however, tuition and fees paid prior to acceptance into the sponsorship program are not eligible for retroactive payment of past tuition and related expenses.

Hours/Schedule:
36 hours per week on Day shift plus call.
The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist prepares the Cath Lab for Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, and assesses and fulfills patient needs. This position performs hemodynamic and control room duties, completes patient catheterization report, and correlates the analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests. The specialist also performs Cardiac Cath Lab procedures maintaining proper sterile technique, performs stress tests, practices radiation safety, and transports patients.
Essential Job Functions:
Correlates the analysis of invasive and noninvasive tests to recognize need for additional intervention and reports pertinent findings to Physician.
Performs hemodynamic and control room duties maintaining a working knowledge of equipment.
Prepares and performs the Cardiac Cath Lab for procedures according to standard operating procedures, i.e., proper supplies, equipment set-up, etc.
Practices radiation safety in order to protect both staff members and the patient.
Performs and monitors patient's stress tests.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Must meet requirements that align with conditional license of North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board
Additional Discipline Requirements:
Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Surgical Technologist: Must adhere to state licensing guidelines and be eligible to qualify for the RCIS/RCES exam within 24 months of the start date.
