Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a part-time Cardiovascular Tech for night shifts to support the cardiovascular service. You will perform EKGs, set up and manage cardiac monitors, and conduct cardiovascular tests while communicating with physicians and patients.

Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential in this fast-paced environment. BLS is required; English proficiency and basic computer skills are expected. One year of experience or related training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• One year of experience preferred or training through Allied Health program.

• Perform EKGs and apply/process cardiac monitors.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
