HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist II to join a skilled team delivering advanced cardiac care. You will support physicians during complex procedures, guide patients and families, and help ensure precise, safe treatments with cutting-edge cath lab technology.

The role emphasizes patient-centered communication, vigilant monitoring, and maintaining a sterile environment while collaborating with a strong interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational School Graduate credential.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer or alternative state credentials listed.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties and stent placements.
• Prepare and support patients and families with care, education and reassurance before, during and after procedures.
• Operate and maintain advanced cath lab equipment for safe treatment delivery.
• Monitor patient responses with vigilance to ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain a sterile, safe environment and advocate for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Preparing and supporting patients and families with care, education, and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to deliver safe and effective treatment
• Monitoring patient responses with vigilance and compassion to ensure the highest level of care
• Safeguarding a sterile, safe environment while serving as an advocate for every patient

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate
• (ARRT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner, or (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician
