Memorial Physician Practices seeks a Cardiovascular Technician II to contribute effectively in monitoring heart rhythms and assisting in diagnostic procedures. The position offers diverse shift options, a sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

UP Health System Marquette – Cardiovascular Technician II – Electrophysiology

1.0 FTE (40 hours week) Varied Shifts. This is a MAST union position. This position has a $7,500 sign-on for external candidates based on eligibility.

How you’ll contribute

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation. Enters new data as needed.
• Monitors heart rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. Reports any changes to the appropriate person.
• Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Assists cardiologist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Administers medications to patients under the supervision of attending physicians.

What we’re looking for

• 1 Year Experience in the Cath Lab
• Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, Paramedicine, Licensed Practical Nurse or equivalent academic program and experience).
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Non‑Radiologic Technology and Licensed Practical Nursing requires Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 6 months of hire
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Preferred
