Job summary

UP Health System Marquette is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our team in Marquette, MI. This full-time role involves administering radiopharmaceuticals, processing images, and providing data for diagnostic interpretation and therapy planning.

Qualified candidates should have AMA‑accredited nuclear medicine training, BLS‑HCP, and NMTCB or ARRT‑N certification. A 1.0 FTE position with a $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • BLS‑HCP certification required.
  • NMTCB or ARRT‑N certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology.
  • Provides images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
  • Evaluates images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
  • Processes the images for radiologist review.

This position is MAST Union Position.

This position has a $7,500 sign on bonus for eligible external candidates.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.

What We’re Looking For
  • Graduated from AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Associate’s degree (Preferred).
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP).
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist‑Nuclear (ARRT‑N).
