Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to join our team to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. If you believe in the importance of patient care, we want you to apply! You will assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, and perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization, such as IAB and temporary pacer insertion. You will follow established standards under the supervision of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Recognizing and identifying potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data, and participating in the patient’s care according to departmental standards.
• Prioritizing resources for patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
• Demonstrating knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, conditions like CAD, and treatment therapies for specific patient populations.
• Performing Cath lab procedures with competence.
• Assisting in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status, documenting findings, and reporting abnormal results to physicians.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience as an LPN with Critical Care training within one year of hire, or one year of Cath Lab experience, or certifications such as RCIS or CVT, or graduation from an accredited RCVT program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal skills, ability to read and follow instructions, and PC skills.
