Job Summary and Qualifications

We are currently seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to join our team. You will assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures, including emergency procedures like IAB and temporary pacer insertion. You will work under the supervision of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Recognizing and identifying patient problems, collecting accurate data, and participating in patient care according to department standards.
• Prioritizing resources based on patient information and staff capabilities.
• Demonstrating knowledge of cardiac anatomy, conditions like CAD, and treatment therapies for our patient populations.
• Performing Cath lab procedures with competence.
• Assisting in data collection across cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Documenting findings and reporting abnormal results to physicians.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited CVT or RCVT program preferred, or an LPN, Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Paramedic with 1 year of hospital-based experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal skills, ability to follow instructions, and PC skills.
