Prepares for and assists physician in all procedures done in the Cardiovascular Lab.
Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program or two years of field experience as an allied health professional such as CVT, Radiology Tech, Anesthesia Tech or Paramedic is required.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist program is preferred.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within nine months of hire.
