Qualifikationen

• Licensure or other certifications required: RCIS, RT(R), RRT, or RCVT; Paramedic or PN license accepted in lieu of registry; current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Educational Requirement: High School Diploma.
• Minimum Experience: One year work experience; preferred in registry or license.

Aufgaben

• Ensures correct patient data and optimal imaging factors for each procedure.
• Preps procedure room and equipment; maintains sterile technique throughout invasive procedures.
• Assists physician during percutaneous and open cases; handles catheters, sheaths, guidewires and supplies.
• Operates fluoroscopy and digital radiology equipment; performs post-processing of films and cine.
• Documents all pre-, intra-, and post-procedure data in the EMR; ensures proper billing charges.
• Able to take call shifts with a 30-minute response time; supports PI programs and process improvement.
• Mentors new staff; participates in mandatory education on new equipment and procedures.
