Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Braselton, GA seeks a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to support Cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab. Under physician supervision, you will maintain sterile technique, assist with percutaneous and open cases, and ensure data entry and imaging quality.

The role requires RCIS/RT(R)/RRT/RCVT or equivalent, BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of experience; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Required licensure: RCIS, RT(R), RRT, or RCVT; alt: Paramedic or Practical Nurse license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Education: High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Enter accurate patient data and select correct technical factors for optimal imaging.
• Complete preop paperwork and prep the procedure room and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and prep for each case; manage patient privacy.
• Assist Physician during percutaneous and open cases with equipment, catheters and supplies.
• Trained in vascular sheath removal; deploy vascular closure devices if credentialed.
• Perform scrub, circulating and monitoring roles; operate fluoroscopy equipment.
• Document pre-, intra-, and post-procedure data in the EMR; verify charges.
