Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist I to support diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular cath and EP procedures. You will train to assist physicians, maintain sterile technique, and work in collaboration with cath_EP lab staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires on-site work, with flexibility for call/standby as needed and adherence to safety and regulatory standards within an adult and geriatric patient population.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Health Science program preferred.
• ACLS and/or BLS certifications required upon hire (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular cath and EP procedures.
• Monitors scrubs or circulates; maintain sterile technique.
• Educate patients about procedures and prep.
• Maintain documentation and records per Joint Commission standards.
