Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist II to support open-heart and vascular procedures, ensuring sterile technique and assisting the surgical team.

The role requires a Surgical Technologist degree, Virginia license, NBSTSA CST, BLS, and 2 years CV/Thoracic experience, with four 10-hour shifts and rotating call. A sign-on bonus up to $30,000 is offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with sterile instruments and equipment.
• Anticipate surgeon’s needs during cardiovascular procedures, maintaining aseptic technique.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and nursing staff to ensure safe patient care.
