Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Operating Room (CTOR) team. Full-time, day shift with required call. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterility, instrumentation management, and supporting the CTOR team through complex procedures such as bypass, valve, and transplant cases. Eligible candidates must have an ADN; BSN preferred and CNOR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree - Nursing required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, sterile field throughout procedures.
• Assist surgeon and provide necessary tools; manage counts.
• Coordinate with surgical team during complex open heart and thoracic cases.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-family centered perioperative care.
