Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) for the Cardiovascular Surgery Stepdown unit on the Main Campus. You will support RNs with patient care, monitor patients, and help with daily activities in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross, or must obtain during hire.
• Nursing students must have BLS prior to hire.
• Military experience as HM/68W/4N0X1 will be considered.
• Proficiency in basic math and reading at an 8th-grade level.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision (vital signs, ADLs, transfers).
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition to an RN.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
