Brookwood Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cardiovascular Stepdown in Alabaster, AL. This full-time night shift (7p-7a) includes every 3rd weekend coverage and involvement in high-acuity cardiovascular care on the stepdown unit.

The role requires experience in critical care, with ECMO knowledge and strong assessment skills. Benefits start day one, and a comprehensive package is offered by the hospital system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• 1 year experience required unless AVP level or above approved.
• Maintains current State of AlabamaRN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas. NRP required for Neonatal Intensive care Unit (NICU).

Responsibilities

• Care for patients requiring complex assessment and high-intensity therapies.
• Monitors and adjusts ECMO and related equipment; interprets monitors.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Assesses patient needs and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Documents patient care meeting regulatory standards.
