Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pulmonary unit, nights (7pm–7am). A $5,000 sign-on bonus and student loan contribution (up to $20k) are available along with comprehensive benefits for full- and part-time roles.

As an RN, you will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement. Cardiac telemetry experience is valued for this role.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in clinical nursing in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure as required by state or compact.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac care beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care following the nursing process.
• Document assessments and communicate changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on plans and discharge care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Utilize telemetry to monitor cardiac patients and trends.
