Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pulmonary unit on a night shift (7pm-7am). A $5,000 sign-on bonus and student loan contribution up to $20k are offered, with additional benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401k match for full- and part-time roles.

The RN provides patient-centered care following clinical protocols, coordinates with the care team, administers medications, and educates patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure in state or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• ACLS/PALS are preferred.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to plan care.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
