Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative for Cardiovascular to connect with medical professionals, share clinical benefits, and help clinicians navigate payer environments. The role supports the district's marketing strategy and promotes Amgen products as directed by the District Manager.

The Senior Specialty Representative acts as the main customer contact, builds relationships, achieves territory sales targets, and collaborates with teams to maximize patient impact while upholding Amgen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; or an associate's degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior qualifications include Bachelor's degree with 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare, or Associate with 6 years of sales/clinical experience, or HS diploma with 8 years of sales/clinical experience.
• Preferred: 3+ years of sales in pharma/biotech/medical device; local market knowledge; established relationships in the territory; degree in Life Sciences or Business Admin.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver on marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, ensure product access, and manage reimbursement issues.
• Offer feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance, and help plan territory growth.
