Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa is seeking a day shift, full-time Cardiovascular Specialist to support the cath lab and electrophysiology services. You will assist X-ray, cath scrub duties, and EP cases, delivering high-quality patient care in a Hillcrest Medical Center setting.

The role requires an allied health degree, ARRT/RCIS registry eligibility with licensure within 12 months, plus BLS within 14 days and ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Vocational/Technical Degree required.
• ARRT or RCIS registry eligible at time of hire; license within 12 months.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for X-ray, Cath lab scrubbing for diagnostic/interventional cases, Cath Recorder.
• Provide EP scrub, EP technical support, and/or Structural Heart assistance as assigned.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care per HHS standards.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act regulations.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• Accountable for all of the functions and competencies for two of the following roles: Xray, Scrub for both diagnostic and interventional Cath, Cath Recorder; EP Scrub, EP Technical and/or Structural Heart.
• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Vocational/Technical Degree
• ARRT or RCIS registry eligible at time of hire and obtain license within one year of employment.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification

Preferred Requirements:

• ARRT, RCIS or RCES
• One (1) year Cath Lab experience
