Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK seeks a day shift, full-time Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to join our team. The role involves working in the Cath Lab with responsibilities spanning X-ray, Cath procedures, EP scrubbing, and structural heart support.

Requirements include an Associate’s or Vocational/Technical Degree, ARRT/RCIS registry eligibility with license within one year, BLS within 14 days of hire, and ACLS certification. Preferred: ARRT/RCIS/RCES and 1 year Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Vocational/Technical Degree.
• ARRT or RCIS registry eligible at time of hire and obtain license within one year of employment.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all functions and competencies for two of the following roles: Xray, Scrub for both diagnostic and interventional Cath, Cath Recorder; EP Scrub, EP Technical and/or Structural Heart.
• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
