Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a day shift, full‑time Cardiac Catheterization Lab PACU RN in Tulsa, OK. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive post-procedural care and monitoring in the PACU, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Registered Nurse Program.
• 2 year Associate Degree.
• Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care per unit standards.
• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care and monitor patient status.
• Develop and modify plans of care in line with Patient Care policies.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
