UNC Health is seeking a part-time Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging and related patient care for cardiovascular disease patients in Chapel Hill, NC. The role emphasizes quality reporting, equipment maintenance, and on-call readiness.

The ideal candidate will have ARDMS/CCI registry or be registry-eligible, with relevant acute hospital experience and a strong commitment to patient safety and teamwork. Onsite schedule supports daytime coverage.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Sonography, Radiology or related field within 3 months of hire.
• ARDMS/CCI registry or registry eligible within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate competence in pre- and post-procedure patient care, including CPR.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is calibrated and maintained daily; document QA.
• Generate ultrasound images of heart and vascular structures with varied study types.
• Perform vascular studies and real-time readings in OR for invasive/non-invasive procedures.
• Study neonatal/NICU and pediatric patients; may train staff; act as SME.
