Responsibilities

• Perform cardiovascular ultrasound procedures including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Assess patient history and verify exam orders against indications.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and cooperation during procedures.
• Assist with esophageal imaging and TEE prep and disinfection where required.
• Maintain equipment and contribute to department quality improvement.
• Support education and training of sonographer students and residents.
