Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in Rock Hill, SC seeks aDirector - Cardiovascular Services to provide strategic and operational leadership across cardiovascular services within an acute care hospital.

The ideal candidate has a clinical background with cardiovascular services leadership, strong collaboration with physicians and executives, and a track record of improving quality, safety, and program growth in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
• 2+ years of cardiovascular services or related specialty.
• Active RN license or ability to obtain a Multi-State RN License within 30 days.
• BLS/CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
• Strong leadership and department management experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of cardiovascular services and assigned departments.
• Lead staffing, departmental performance, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure services align with the hospital’s Plan for the Provision of Patient Care.
• Establish and maintain standards for nursing and respiratory care.
• Monitor quality, safety, patient outcomes, and effectiveness of care delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to develop and expand cardiovascular programs.
• Support new services based on community and patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards.
• Partner with physicians, medical staff, and hospital executives.
