Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an acute care hospital
• 2+ years of cardiovascular services or related specialty experience
• Strong leadership and department management experience
• Active RN license or ability to obtain Multi-State RN License within 30 days
• BLS/CPR certification within 7 days of hire
• Strong communication, leadership, and operational skills

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of cardiovascular services and assigned departments
• Lead staffing, departmental performance, and operational efficiency
• Ensure services align with the hospital’s Plan for the Provision of Patient Care
• Establish and maintain standards for nursing and respiratory care
• Monitor quality, safety, patient outcomes, and effectiveness of care delivery
• Drive continuous improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
• Identify opportunities to develop and expand cardiovascular programs
• Support new services based on community and patient needs
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards
• Partner with physicians, medical staff, and hospital executives
• Support execution of the hospital’s strategic priorities
• Build strong collaboration across clinical and operational teams
