Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Pre/Post RN to provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. You will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs and telemetry, administer medications and IV therapies, and support safe recovery.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with cardiovascular nursing experience.
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and IV therapy administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-procedure evaluations and deliver patient education.
• Provide post-procedure observation, monitoring, and recovery support.
• Manage pain and monitor for symptoms/complications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and safe transitions.
• Document clinical findings and interventions in the EHR.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient readiness.
