Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a Cardiac/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for patients with cardiac and medical conditions. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer treatments, assess patient conditions, and deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include continuous rhythm monitoring, medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Previous cardiac, telemetry, Med-Surg, or acute-care experience preferred.
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and clinical assessment skills.
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• BLS and ACLS certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor cardiac and medical patients.
• Continuously monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
• Provide cardiac and medical nursing care based on patient needs.
• Respond promptly to abnormal rhythms and changes in clinical status.
• Assist with cardiac procedures and interventions as required.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
