Job summary

Health Here is recruiting an RN for the Cardiovascular Recovery Room Unit to provide high-acuity post-procedural care after cardiac catheterizations and related surgeries. The nurse will monitor hemodynamics, manage IV therapies, and respond quickly to changes in patient status.

You will educate patients and families on recovery plans, coordinate with cardiology and surgical teams, and support rapid escalation when needed. This role requires strong cardiovascular and critical care skills.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and cardiovascular nursing experience preferred.
• Strong critical care and cardiovascular nursing skills with the ability to manage complex therapies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic parameters continuously; assess and respond to changes.
• Administer drips and IV therapies in line with protocols.
• Provide effective pain management and post-procedural care.
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and exit criteria.
• Coordinate care with cardiologists, surgeons, anesthesia, and the care team.
• Support rapid response and escalation when clinical status declines.

Provide high-acuity post-procedural nursing care for patients recovering from cardiac catheterizations, cardiovascular interventions, and related surgeries. Deliver continuous monitoring of hemodynamic status and respond promptly to clinical changes in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic parameters continuously; assess and manage changes in patient condition.
• Administer and manage drips and IV therapies, following clinical protocols.
• Provide pain management and ongoing post-procedural care.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, care plans, and when to seek help.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with cardiologists, surgeons, anesthesia, and an interdisciplinary team.
• Support rapid response and escalation when clinical status declines.

Qualifications/Skills
