Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for complex cardiac and medical patients in a stepdown unit. You will provide evidence-based nursing care with telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and post-procedure recovery.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, educate patients and families, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and ability to manage complex patient care.
• Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, and care planning.
• Proficiency with telemetry and monitoring-based decision-making.
• Excellent communication and patient/family education skills.
• Commitment to compassion, patient safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical status
