Qualifications

Overview

We are offering a $25,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

As our Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist at St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day you’ll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

About Us

The CARDIAC CATH LAB at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence supporting the Heart & Vascular Institute. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower. The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 4 rooms plus a Hybrid room dedicated to a patient population providing diagnostic and interventional services as well as pacemakers, AICD's, Electrophysiology procedures, TAVR, Mitral Clip, and LAAO.

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough and accurate imaging techniques for patient positioning according to the imaging order.
  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to avoid failures.

Dignity Health offers an Education Benefit program for eligible employees after 180 days, providing debt relief and student loan assistance, up to $18,000 for full-time and $9,000 for part-time employees over five years.

Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of current Radiology Technologist experience, including interventional procedures.
  • Completion of an approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program.
Licensure
  • Current Radiology License (CRT).
  • Current Arizona State License (MRTBE).
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS (preferred) and BLS certifications.

Pay Range

$40.66 - $58.96 per hour
