Job summary

Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital – Frisco is recruiting for a Quality Improvement Consultant to advance patient safety and care quality across initiatives. You will lead internal quality efforts, coordinate projects, and mentor teams while aligning with BSWH standards and local regulations.

Based in Frisco, Texas, you will contribute to a hospital opening and ongoing learning, with opportunities to shape best practices and reporting throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• 4 years of experience in quality, patient safety, or related field.
• Experience with regulatory standards (Texas, Joint Commission, CMS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal consultant for quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage quality improvement projects and meetings.
• Coach and mentor teams on regulatory issues and care quality.
• Develop indicators and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders on progress and barriers.
• Utilize audits, data extraction, surveys, and focus groups to improve care.
