Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience with cardiovascular physiology techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct advanced, multidisciplinary cardiovascular research.
• Review progress, interpret results, and plan methods and new techniques.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the SHC cardiovascular physiology core facility.
• Perform animal surgery for myocardial infarction models and echocardiography assessments.
• Train and support investigators and trainees in specialized methods.
• Coordinate lab safety, data analysis, and grant/proposal activities.
