The Division of Cardiology within the Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions. Candidates for Assistant or Associate Professor are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree. We are seeking candidates with significant postdoctoral training or similar experience. The position comes with a competitive start-up package and lab space, protected time for the establishment of an independent research program and mentoring by supportive faculty in the Division of Cardiology.

Areas of interest include but are not limited to cardiovascular metabolism, cardiac signaling and gene regulation, cardio-immunology, cardiac fibrosis, and vascular biology. Research excellence will be weighed more strongly than specific research interests. Our goal is to hire innovative researchers who use modern techniques and approaches to interrogate fundamental mechanistic questions at the molecular, cellular, tissue, and organismal levels.
