Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion is required.
• Perfusion experience of 1–3 years is required.
• Heartsaver CPR AED and Certified Clinical Perfusionist certifications are required; Tennessee licensure for clinical perfusionists is required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perfusion services per defined standards and protocols, operating and maintaining the heart/lung machine and accessories.
• Maintain clear communication with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Ensure proper function of equipment through routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Contribute to quality improvement and assist in policy/procedure development.
• Engage in professional development and ongoing education; perform non-clinical duties as assigned.
