Job summary

Le Bonheur Children's Hospital's Heart Institute in Memphis seeks a full-time Pediatric Perfusionist to support congenital cardiac surgery, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.

The role offers collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses; involvement in research and education; and a focus on pediatric patient care. ABCP certification and Tennessee licensure are required or achievable within the first year.

Qualifications

• ABCP certification required or obtainable within the first year.
• Tennessee perfusion license required or eligible to obtain licensure.
• 1–3 years pediatric perfusion experience preferred; new graduates considered with pediatric exposure.
• Strong teamwork, communication, professionalism, and commitment to pediatric patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide perfusion services for congenital cardiac surgery, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support.
• Collaborate with two surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and Heart Institute team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and departmental protocols.
